Relationship Rescue Tips
No one said dating and romance would be easy, and no one likes a broken heart. How is it that some couples can sail right through every issue, while other couples are left wondering what went wrong? With a bit of patience and a lot of understanding, you too can overcome the problems that arise in your relationship.
Communication is Key
Express your needs and desires so she understands what you expect out of your relationship. If you are not up front with your partner, she could easily misinterpret your needs and problems will arise.
Don’t hesitate when letting your lover know what you desire inside and outside of the bedroom, and be up front about what you want. Only use the hints for your needs sparingly, and you’ll see she’ll appreciate your openness.
Honesty Goes a Long Way
Tell your partner exactly how you feel; never hide your true feelings from your lover. Doing so will cause mistrust within your relationship, and lead to more problems.
Explain yourself in a sincere way without passing judgements, or criticizing your partner. Sometimes the truth hurts, and your partner will appreciate your honesty if you tell him in a loving and supportive way.
Trust is an Issue
Learn to trust your partner. This can be a big step, but it is a vital one. No one wants to be in a relationship with someone untrustworthy, and if you find yourself unable to trust your lover even after trying, then it is time you move on. Trust between two people is earned, not given, and might be the biggest deal breaker in a couple.
Jealousy can be healthy for a relationship if it does not overstep its means. If you suspect your partner of cheating, don’t snoop or play private eye. Simply be honest about how you feel and your suspicions, and the results may surprise you. Trust and honesty go hand in hand, and having both in a relationship is nothing short of beneficial.
Patience is a Virtue
Slow down and take it easy when it comes to relationships. Jumping the gun on big decisions without weighing the pros and cons can be the end of something worthwhile. Sometimes taking a step back and not being so spontaneous can make things better in the long run.
Instead of moving in with your new beau after only a few months of dating, take a weekend trip together where you would have to live like a committed couple. Camping is always a classic way to see if living together would work, as it involves cooking meals, tending to a home environment, and working together for both of your comfort.
If the trip is a flop because of conflict, it is best you both spend a bit more time working on your relationship rather than planning a future together.
Chivalry Is Not Dead
Whisk your honey off on a romantic getaway; you won’t even have to leave the comforts of your own home if you cannot afford a trip away at this time. Treating your partner to a romantic night in can rekindle any dying flame. Surprise her with her favorite meal, complete with candlelight and soft music, and pop open a bottle of her favorite bubbly.
Watch the sparks fly when you do something special for your lover. Even a surprise bouquet of her favorite flowers, or a box of her favorite chocolates, can put you in her good graces for days on end. Read the rest of this entry »
